Wide World of Sports

ABC’s Wide World of Sports will always be remembered for one line: “The Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat”. But there are others as well “Spanning the Globe”-“The Constant Variety”.  From Cliff Diving to Barrel Jumping and Aerobatics to Wrist Wrestling and let’s not forget the Little League World Series since 1963, ABC’s Wide World of Sports has covered over 120 different sports from every country all over the world for over 45 years.
